On March 3, 2018, CAAWC's establishing ceremony was held at our local country club. More than 200 people joined including members of Congress, Senators, Assemblymembers, and City Officials.
On May 24, 2018, the President of CAAWC, James Su, held the West Covina Public Safety Forum, inviting the police and fire department Chiefs to educate our residents on how to protect themselves.
On July 17, 2018, CAAWC welcomed sister city Fengtai's exchange students. A total of 41 students and 6 teachers enjoyed the In-N-Out meals we provided.
On August 18, 2018, CAAWC co-organized a charity clinic with Hope Center and Tzu Chi Foundation. CAAWC also set up a booth to encourage residents to register to vote.

September 30, 2023 CAAWC in partnership with the City of West Covina created the 1st Annual West Covina Moon Festival.
The 1st Annual West Covina Moon Festival boasted over 100 vendors and over 20 performances from various cultures.
